At Intensive One Week Driving, we aim to start your driving journey by providing you with the best possible guidance. Our team of certified instructors possess extensive experience in delivering high-quality intensive driving courses with high pass rates. Our objective is to teach you not just to pass, but to develop skills that will last beyond your test, making you a better driver for the future. Your instructor will be with you every step of the way throughout your course, from the first time you turn on the ignition all the way until your test.
This course is ideal for learners who have completed 15+ hours of formal driving tuition. You have already covered the basics. Now you want to refine your skills, gain experience, and become test ready and confident.
This course is suitable for confident, competent learners, who have some driving experience already. If you pick things up easily and want to develop your driving skills to achieve test standard, this is ideal for you.
This course would suit those who have undertaken some driving experience, but require structured lessons to build confidence. You will learn the skills and competencies required to pass the driving test.
A course designed for complete beginners with little or no driving experience, or those who feel they will require more time behind the wheel. You will build the skills and confidence you need to become a safe driver and pass your test.
This course is ideal for those at test standard who need a refresher prior to test. Also would suit those at test standard who haven't driven in a while. Could be used by those on an international licence who need to adjust to UK roads.
There is no definitive answer. Everyone is individual and learns at their own pace. It also depends on whether you can get private practice to build your confidence.
Intensive courses are just that - intense! They don't suit everybody. However they are great to build skill and confidence in a short timeframe.
Legislation changes frequently on who is allowed to book and manage tests. The DVSA has currently undertaken a consultation on changes they wish to implement. We find it works better if you book your own test. Should you need any assistance in booking a test or finding a cancellation, we can certainly help. Please be advised that the DVSA has lengthened the notice cancellation period for tests to 10 clear working days, instead of the previous 3 working days. We keep abreast of all developments and may choose in the future to offer courses with a test booked by us, once the DVSA has made its final decision on test booking conditions.
